We got tired of TPU tubes that flat too often. So we built our own: light where it counts, strong where it matters. This is what we believe, and where we're going.
We didn't start TurboTubes to build the lightest tube. We started it because we were done flatting.
We're racers first. We made the switch to TPU for the speed: less weight on the wheel, sharper out of the gate, easier speed everywhere. But too many TPU tubes chase the lowest number on the scale, and pay for it on race day. A flat, right when it matters most. We were done with that.
So we built the opposite. Not the lightest. On purpose. A 0.4 mm wall instead of a paper-thin 25 grams: up to 3× more puncture resistant than other TPU tubes, and still up to 73% lighter than rubber. Light where it counts, strong where it matters. Two years of testing in real races before we let it out the door.
That's the whole idea. Less weight. More speed. Without giving up the race. A movement of riders who refuse to choose between fast and reliable.
